Engineering Students Broadening their Learning Experience with PARPRO Factory Tour
PARPRO Technologies was thrilled to host Samueli Academy, a local public charter school in Santa Ana, California. Some 40 senior, junior, and sophomore students recently had the opportunity to tour our factory and gain insights into electronic manufacturing services, PCBA processes, and the overall product manufacturing journey.
Eric Van Poppelen, President of PARPRO Technologies, along with David Kim, VP of Quality & Engineering, hosted this lunch and learn emphasizing PARPRO’s commitment to investing in the future generation of engineers, technicians, and staff integral to the product development lifecycle.
Samueli Academy, known for its project-based learning and strong S.T.E.A.M curriculum, is dedicated to preparing students for success in fields like Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and the Arts. The students who visited PARPRO are part of the engineering pathway, benefiting from a program designed and conducted by veteran Engineers lead by Anthony “Nino” Polizzi, Engineering Instructor. This field trip plays a crucial role in their learning experience and in broadening their understanding of the real-world environment and applications of their learning.
This visit was made possible by Sophia Bernal at SCALE Together, a community of purpose-driven entrepreneurs and business owners based in Orange County, California with a mission of sharing connecting, advancing, learning and equipping the next generation. PARPRO Technologies was honored to be part of SCALE Together’s ‘American Career Awareness’ Program and are eager to continue investing in our community and nurturing the next wave of talented individuals.
